Frontone (at 1 km.)
In the Province of Pesaro and Urbino, located opposite the Mount Catria (m. 1701),
a few kilometers from the known Hermitage of Fonte Avellana, Frontone has a unique environment and landscape. The history of its Rocca, of medieval origins,
is always intertwined with the history of the centre of Frontone that, in 1420, was subtracted by the Montefeltro to Gabrielli of Gubbio.

The Rocca of Mondavio (at 30 km.)
The Rocca (castle) is still one of the most interesting examples of the design of Francesco di Giorgio Martini in the Marche region.
It was built for Giovanni della Rovere, together with that of nearby Mondolfo.

Corinaldo (at 30 km.)
Corinaldo preserve long mid-renaissance walls, that encompasses all the historical center and offer a rare example of a fortified city.
Definitely worth visiting is the Civic Art Collection "Claudio Ridolfi" which contains works by artists of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
The city is the birthplace of the Saint Maria Goretti.

The Ducal Palace of Urbino (at 35 km.)
The Ducal Palace of Urbino, located alongside the cathedral, is one of the most interesting examples of architectural and artistic whole Italian Renaissance and is home of the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche.
There are wonderful paintings by artists such as Raphael, Piero della Francesca (of whom is the famous Flagellation of Christ), Paolo Uccello, Tiziano and Melozzo da Forli.
Of considerable interest is the famous 'Studiolo' of Federico da Montefeltro, made in the splendid work of trompe-l'oeil of inlaid wood.
